Welcome to Phi Gamma Delta (aka FIJI) at Penn. Here at FIJI, we take pride in upholding the national values of Phi Gamma Delta, listed below.

  • Friendship. Our brotherhood really feels like family. The rewards of FIJI membership extend far beyond the four years we spend at Penn.
  • Knowledge. All of us are at Penn for a reason. We believe that education and a commitment to lifelong learning are the keys to a fuller, richer life.
  • Service. We recognize our obligation to give back to the campus and community that foster our growth.
  • Morality. We are committed to doing what is right in all our relationships.
  • Excellence. Being a FIJI is an honor, and we strive to achieve the full potential of our chapter and its individual members.

About FIJI

The five values (above) are summed up by an unofficial FIJI motto: "Not for college days alone." Phi Gamma Delta exists to promote lifelong friendships, to reaffirm high ethical standards and values, and to foster personal development in the pursuit of excellence.

At FIJI, we also pride ourselves on upholding a rich fraternity history. Each spring, we host Pig Dinner, which is the longest-running graduate event in the world of Greek life. Our graduate brothers join us at the chapter house for a night of stories and ceremonies as we continue a tradition that has existed for over 120 years. In addition to Pig Dinner and other larger events, we take as many chances as we can get to host smaller events that foster friendships within our brotherhood.

We hope you explore the website and see what we're all about. If you're a freshman at Penn and want to be part of something that will last for the rest of your life, then you're in the right place. You will make your best friends at FIJI, strengthen your personal values as you become part of something larger than yourself, and have the time of your life during your years at Penn.
